Dynamic Queries

Open Admin Panel → Dynamic Queries. Query managers can create reusable definitions with:

  1. A source ObjectType.
  2. Selected output fields.
  3. Typed filter conditions, grouped with All or Any.

For example, Active Teachers may select Teacher Name and filter Active equals Checked.

Filter rules

Fields are selected by stable ID. Operators depend on the field kind. Numbers and dates support comparisons; text supports equals/not-equals/one-of; checkboxes use booleans. Multiselect currently supports Is empty only.

The API rejects foreign fields, unknown operators, incorrectly typed values, oversized projections, and excessive nesting. An empty All group represents all authorized source records during execution.

Query-backed field options

Configure a select/multiselect field, choose Dynamic Query, and map its projected output fields. Record ID is the recommended stable option value; a projected text field may be selected instead.

Referenced queries cannot be deleted or drop mapped output fields. Permanent keys, version checks, retirement, and audit history protect definitions.

Execution and option sources

Saving a query stores its definition. Use Run to preview authorized live results, or reference it from a DynamicGroup. Saving an option mapping still does not populate a dropdown: live option lookup and record-time option validation remain separate work. See Query execution.
